  Process and Inspiration

Handcrafted Process

Partnering primarily with various gauge sizes of copper wire; the majority, having a non-tarnish finish. This copper has been coated with a lead and nickel free, thin clear layer. This coating gives the copper a warm, rich honey colored cast, as opposed to, the pinkish color of bare copper. This coating also helps keep the piece from changing color or discoloring your skin.

Manipulating the wire by curving, twisting, bending, wrapping, coiling, flattening, hammering and/or texturing; embellishing with wire, gemstones, art glass beads and/or charms.

Earring wires are made from niobium, a hypoallergenic metal that works well for most people.

Design Inspiration

Having been fascinated and attracted to wrought iron during my travels thru the US, Mexico, Spain, Italy and Morocco; I am inspired to incorporate curves and shapes into the wire, "it reminds me of music - graceful, soothing and flowing". I put a little of myself into each piece. Individual, unique, sometimes loud, but always fun.

Wonderful Water - Relaxing, rejuvenating and meditative qualities it provides. Beach and coastal sites full of sea glass, well worn rocks, shells, shapes of sea life and the waves.
